Man City vs Fulham the outcome was in favor of home side.

Man City are dominating all of the early possession here as they knock it around in front of Fulham.

The visitors are pressing high, but they can’t get close to them at the moment.

Haaland drops deep to get on the ball and knocks it on to Kovacic so that he can make a run into the box.

It’s swept out to Ake so he can swing a cross in, but it’s too deep for the Norweigan.

Fulham attack and they’ve started brightly. A cross deflects off Manuel Akanji and goes out for a corner.

City deal with it after the ball goes out for a goal kick.

Manuel Akanji is moving into midfield for City in the early stages, which is allowing Kovacic to push further forward and play alongside Alvarez.

They’ve not kept the ball long enough for the tactic to really take shape so far, it’s not been a bad start from Fulham and it’s pretty even so far.

City are just upping the pressure now and Rodri chips it over the top for Foden, who has space on the right.

He drills it across the six-yard box first time, but nobody is in there for the hosts.

What a run from Foden! It’s laid off to him by Alvarez down the right and he weaves his way towards goal through a crowded box.

Leno thinks he’s going to shoot so rushes off his line, but it’s squared to Haaland instead, and Diop puts his laces through the clearance.

GOAL!.. Man City take a lead. Haaland gets the assist. Alvarez taps in six yards out.

GOAL! Fulham level instantly. A cheap corner conceded, Jimenez turns from the set piece, Tim Ream taps in on the goal line.

Akanji had stepped into midfield and found Kovacic, the run from Haaland and the pass are excellent.

It looks like a shot but turns into an excellent pass. The lead then disappeared almost immediately.

City defended that corner poorly, it was too easy for Jimenez to make first contact and Ream was all alone for the tap in.

The crowd is getting restless with Michael Oliver’s performance, there is some very marginal calls going Fulham’s way and, Rodri just got booked, either for a very minor foul or for dissent.

Bernardo Silva is so unhappy from the bench that he has to be pulled away from fourth official Michael Salisbury .

Doku wins a free kick on the edge of the area, and Diop takes a yellow card of his own.

Just as Haaland goes to head goalwards, Issa Diop gets a vital touch to take it away from the striker.

Akanji jumps out of the way of Ake’s header as it bounces into the ground, and it’s not until it clears the defender that Leno dives.

It does look like he was blocking the keeper’s view, but VAR doesn’t see it that way, and the goal will stand.

Fulham have essentially refused to give the ball back, they’re furious that goal has been given.

The City fans are loving it, but the goal won’t be chalked off now.
