The Organizers of the Nigerian music award, Headies Awards have finally announced its nominees for this year’s award.

The Headies is a music awards show established in 2006 by the Hip Hop World Magazine of Nigeria to recognize outstanding achievements in the Nigerian music industry. The annual ceremony features performances by established and promising artists. 

This year will be its 16th edition, and the review year will be from January 2022 to March 2023. They made the announcement on their Twitter handle where they revealed the names of nominees.

Nominees for the Rookie of the Year are Odumodublvck, Guchi, Bayanni, Eltee Skhillz, Bloody Civilian and Khalid.
