Ibadan-based comedian and event compere, Owomoyela Nifemi , popularly known by his stage name, Peteru Comedy, has passed away.

The skit maker, who is well-known for his comic take on Big Brother Naija in Yoruba, reportedly died of colon cancer on Wednesday, December 21.

It was learnt that Peteru, said to be the only son in a family of seven, just buried his father in the month of November this year.

Following the sad report, his colleagues in the entertainment industry, fans and followers, have taken to social media to mourn his sudden demise.
