Former Super Eagles captain, Mikel Obi, has at last addressed the rumored long-standing beef with legendary singer, 2baba.

In 2006, it was asserted that Mike Obi had snubbed the Afropop icon at a London club.

Four years after, 2baba released a hit song titled “Only Me.”, which many assumed was directed at their alleged beef.

Though, 2baba stated that the song was never intended as a diss track or about Mikel, many didn’t believe him.

Just recently, Mikel, while engaging with a fan, had addressed the rumored beef.

A curious fan asked him about it, and he clarified that he never snubbed 2baba at a London club.

Mikel emphasized that he is a huge fan of 2Baba and would never have done anything to disrespect him.

An Instagram user identified as xfranky22 wrote:

“Did you truly snub 2face at a club in London back in 2006?”

Mikel debunked the rumor, saying:

“No, I never did. Am a big fan of his. So I wouldn’t do such a thing. Have a lovely day.”
