“Thank you Don Jazzy for bringing these amazing humans to our faces” – Skit Maker Taaooma joins Don Jazzy in celebrating Mavins Records anniversary


Content creator and skit maker, Maryam Apaokagi Greene, popularly known as Taaooma, has created to the celebration of Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records.

Earlier today, Don Jazzy celebrated Mavin Records’ 11 years of existence with an emotional note, recalling how it kept growing from strength to strength, breaking boundaries and impacting lives.

He appreciated his fans, brand partners and well wishers who supported the record label with love and made it one of the best.

He also acknowledges his signees who are doing well to represent the brand across the globe.

“My baby is 11 today. They say time flies when you are having fun. I cannot believe it’s 11 years already cos trust me, it feels like yesterday.

“The family keeps growing from strength to strength, breaking boundaries and impacting lives positively.

“All these won’t be possible without you, the fans, our brand partners, friends and well wishers. Thank you so much for the love and support always.

“And to the best team in the world, thank you so much and stay relentless to the core. You know we are just getting started. Happy Birthday Mavin”

Reacting to the post, Taaooma recalls how Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records filled her memories with lovely songs it produced. She recounted the beautiful moment she created with her friend, Abula and others.

Taaooma also lists some of the beautiful songs produced by the record label, which include Dorobucci, Aww, Korede Bello’s songs, Reekado Banks and more. She appreciated the music don for bringing talented singers to the limelight and also making them available for their fans.

She wrote, “I remember how much Dorobucci used to burst my head. I and Abula even recreated a magic part of Jantamanta.

Korede Bello was always my screensaver. Abula would also argue with anyone that says Reekado isn’t Nigeria’s most talented artist. And then, Dija’s almighty jam “Aww” made people fall in love anyhow.
