Kunle Afolayan joins Oscars voting committee a year after his ‘Anikulapo’ movie was rejected for nominations

Almost a year after his movie, Anikulapo was rejected by Oscars, Kunle Afolayan has gotten an invitation to join its academy members.

The movie producer cum actor alongside Richard Mofe Damijo, Shola Dada, Jade Osiberu, and CJ ‘Fiery’ Obasi has scored an invite.

Sharing the good news on his Instagram page, Kunle Afolayan expressed gratitude for the invitation.

He noted how it is another opportunity for him to serve.

“Another opportunity to serve. Shola Dada the writer of Roti and Anikulapo the movie and the forthcoming series is also a new member.

Thanks for the invitation”.
