Wizkid, Burna Boy, and the late Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti were three of the well-known Nigerian musician Rema’s musical influences.
Rema revealed this information in a Hip TV interview. He also disclosed that American rapper Kanye West was one of the international artists who gave him inspiration.
According to Rema, the lifestyles of Burna Boy, Whizkid, and Kanye West inspire him to create music.
He said, “ I’m inspired by Burna [Boy] because of his story. Fela [Kuti] inspires me. Kanye West [inspires me] because of how far he goes in terms of his creativity, and production I really like Wiz [kid] because of how he carries himself.”
