Burna Boy, a Grammy-winning Nigerian performer, has hinted that he may retire from music.
The 32-year-old said that a tempting deal recently extended to him has prompted him to think about taking a sabbatical like affluent Barbadian-American singer Rihanna.
According to Burna Boy, the massive contract must be a measure of his dedication to music.
On Sunday, he said on his Instagram story, “ With the numbers I’m seeing on this contract, the next years of my life are about to really show if I really love doing music.”
“God must really want to test my love for music. I just might bounce on y’all like Rihanna.”
