Apostle Suleman dares Actress Halima Abubakar to prove her allegations against him in court

The founder of Omega Fire Ministries International , Apostle Johnson Suleman, has dared Nollywood actress, Halima Abubakar to prove her allegations against him in court.

Through his lawyer, Dr. Abdul Mahmud, Suleman insists that Abubakar should substantiate her allegations during the trial of a 1 billion Naira defamation suit filed against her last year.

In a statement by his lawyer on Friday, said his client was “unjustly attacked, maligned, and defamed” by the actress to blackmail him for monetary gain.

The lawyer assured the clergyman that he would secure justice in court over her series of defamatory statements.

The court trial has been rescheduled to June 6th and 7th, 2023, after Halima Abubakar and her counsel failed to appear in court.

Naijachoice Media news reported late last year, that Apostle Suleman filed a lawsuit against Halima Abubakar for defamation of his character.

The suit titled “DEFAMATORY STATEMENTS CONCERNING APOSTLE JOHNSON SULEMAN: NOTICE TO CEASE AND DESIST” was specifically addressed to Halima Abubakar over her outburst on social media regarding her past affairs with the man of God.

The suit accused Halima Abubakar of publishing damaging, malicious, and defamatory statements about Apostle Suleman against his conduct. The ailing actress was also asked to make a retracting statement in some selected National Newspapers.

Halima Abubakar, who was unbothered by the suit and threat, challenged him.

The actress didn’t chicken out as she promised to see him in court.

“JS Sure see you at the court”, she wrote.
